Road trip: Day 39

Today we took the scenic drive up the Columbia River Gorge.  It's so hard to keep describing all the beautiful places we have seen.  Everything is so different and yet has it's own beauty.

Can't you just imagine fishing here in the summer?

Washington has such different terrains as you move from the coast to the high desert.

Mt Hood

We stopped for the night in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho.  We couldn't slow down, so my Welcome to Idaho picture is pretty blurry.

We're both starting to feel anxious to get home.  It's been a wonderful trip and we're still maintaining excitement for the next week, but our own bed is beginning to call our names.  We figured out that tonight is our 20th different place to sleep and we still have 4 or 5 more stops before we get home.  Ah, it's going to feel so good next weekend!!
